Set up AirSync with iPhone 2.0

How do I configure my iPhone 2.0 to synchronize Mail, Contacts and Calendars with CommuniGate Pro?

CommuniGate Pro uses what is called AirSync ( To set this up on iPhone you must first make sure that you have port 443 configured as a HTTPU (Settings | Services | HTTPU | Listener) port listener and that init SSL/TLS is enabled. You of course also have to make sure, since you'll be using SSL/TLS, that a valid security certificate ( is installed for the domain to which you will be connecting. Once that is all set up correctly, you can start to configure iPhone.

You will go to Settings | Mail, Contacts, Calendars | Add Account and then select the Microsoft Exchange option. There you will be prompted for the following:

Email: ''
Username: 'user' (Note: You don't need a domain here)
Password: 'password'
Description: 'anything you like here'

Click Next and you should see a message stating that your Exchange account information is being verified. (You may get a certificate warning, which you can choose to accept)

You will then be prompted to enter the name of your server

Server: ''

Click Next

You will then be prompted to choose which data you would like to keep in sync. Please not that if you select both contacts and calendars in addition to mail, you will receive a warning that locally (on the iPhone) stored contacts and calendars will be deleted (and they will), so proceed carefully here.

That should be it.
